Andrew Moss, an analyst at global investment bank Jefferies, analyzed that the Kelp DAO hacking incident could slow down the adoption of blockchain by traditional financial institutions. He added, "As security vulnerabilities and single points of failure in bridge systems have been exposed, financial firms are expected to re-evaluate their risks. Liquidity crises, such as the emergence of bad debt and fund recovery issues, are also occurring in the DeFi ecosystem. Loss of trust could lead to a short-term contraction in adoption. However, with continued regulatory progress and infrastructure improvements, the long-term outlook remains positive."
