A man approached a Météo-France temperature sensor installed outside Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) Airport with a hairdryer, artificially raising the temperature. Exploiting the fact that Polymarket's 'Paris Daily High Temperature' market was judged solely by this one sensor, he made a total profit of $34,000 (approximately 50 million won) over two instances. Météo-France, having detected abnormal spikes in weather data, launched an investigation and has sued the man for obstruction of business and fraud.
