The U.S. Treasury Department has added Cambodian Senator Kok An and 28 associated entities to its sanctions list for allegedly operating a cryptocurrency fraud network. According to Decrypt, the Treasury Department stated that Kok An is a central figure in a large-scale cryptocurrency fraud case, explaining that he "is accused of operating a large-scale cryptocurrency criminal organization through multiple resorts and casinos he owns."
