Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has been selected as this year's Business Leader in recognition of his contributions to leading the cryptocurrency industry's institutionalization and innovation.

Cryptocurrency specialized media outlet Coingape reported on April 25 (local time) that Garlinghouse received the 2026 Business Leader of the Year Award from Harvard Business School. Since then, it has continued aggressive global expansion, broadening its contact points with institutional finance. Recently, it successively acquired major financial technology companies such as GTreasury and Hidden Road. These moves have increased the real-world use cases of the XRP Ledger while further strengthening the company's financial structure.
