UAE declares withdrawal from OPEC and OPEC+ starting May 1

The UAE (United Arab Emirates) officially announced on the 28th (local time) its withdrawal from the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and the OPEC+ framework, effective May 1, 2026.
