According to a report by the Iranian Students' News Agency (ISNA) on the 4th (local time), regarding US President Trump's announcement of a plan to free vessels stranded in the Strait of Hormuz, Ebrahim Rezayi, spokesperson for the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, said, "To reopen the Strait of Hormuz, [they must] either admit defeat and acknowledge Iran's dominance over the strait through an agreement, or return to the battlefield and face further consequences."
