Evernorth, a fintech company supported by Ripple, is pushing for the introduction of a new Strategy model to expand the XRP ecosystem, attracting significant interest from institutional investors.
Benzinga reported on May 4 (local time) that Evernorth is reviewing a standardized Strategy model to enhance the efficiency of XRP-based asset management. This model is designed to manage the volatility of the virtual asset market while leveraging XRP's liquidity, aiming to build an institutional investor-centric operating environment. Evernorth plans to strengthen the reliability of XRP financial products based on the technological capabilities secured through its cooperation with Ripple.
The core of this model lies in building an infrastructure that allows virtual assets to be systematically managed like traditional financial assets. It aims to lower entry barriers by encouraging institutions to manage funds through verified strategies rather than direct purchases. The goal is to support XRP in becoming a core asset in institutional portfolios, moving beyond its role as a mere remittance tool.
The industry is noting the potential for synergy as this initiative aligns with the discussions around the US Cryptocurrency Market Structure Bill (CLARITY). Analysis suggests that if an institutional strategy model is introduced when the regulatory environment is established, large-scale capital inflows could accelerate. Especially with growing expectations for XRP spot ETF approval, Evernorth's move is seen as a factor strengthening market confidence.
The XRP community also anticipates that this model will lead to increased network activity. As institutional participation expands, there is a strong possibility that the utility and ecosystem stability of the XRP Ledger will be enhanced. Evernorth plans to expand its market by disclosing specific strategic operational plans and partnerships in the future.
