On-chain analyst Specter (@SpecterAnalyst) reported via X that hackers of the memecoin leverage trading protocol Wasabi have laundered all $5.9 million stolen from Tornado Cash. He explained, "North Korean hackers also first bridged the stolen assets to Bitcoin and then laundered them through Tornado Cash. The characteristic pattern includes repeated withdrawals to new addresses, distribution to new addresses, and multiple bridging processes. Subsequently, a similar pattern was observed, including transfers to addresses related to over-the-counter (OTC) trading."
