Executives from Ondo Finance (ONDO), Robinhood, and Babylon Labs (BABY) collectively stated during a panel discussion at Consensus 2026, currently being held in Miami, USA, that "Wall Street financial firms are actively adopting cryptocurrency infrastructure and tokenized real-world assets, but regulatory barriers still exist." Among them, Ian de Bode, CSO of Ondo Finance, said, "Even looking at the recent partnership between Broadridge and the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), Wall Street's entry into the cryptocurrency market now seems clear." Nikola White of Robinhood added, "No banks are talking about what blockchain is anymore. They are discussing with us how they can help build blockchain." He further added, "Nevertheless, institutional adoption of cryptocurrencies is still constrained by robust existing financial infrastructure and regulations."
