The Block reported that Core Scientific (CORZ) acquired Bitcoin mining company Polaris for $421 million. Core Scientific plans to secure the power obtained by Polaris through a contract with Oklahoma Gas and Electric, expanding its AI data center operations. Following the announcement, CORZ rose 9.58% and is trading at $24.32.
