As Bitcoin (BTC) recaptures the $80,000 mark and shows a steep upward trend, the global transition to a wartime economic system and large-scale liquidity supply are emerging as key drivers for a new bull market.
The cryptocurrency YouTube channel Altcoin Daily highlighted the macroeconomic changes in the digital asset market in a video uploaded on May 6 (local time). Arthur Hayes analyzed that the market entered a completely different phase in Q2 2026 compared to Q1. He stated, "With the outbreak of war between the United States and Iran, which began on February 28, the entire world has entered a wartime economic system," and diagnosed, "Unlimited currency issuance aimed at national security is driving the rise in Bitcoin prices."
In political circles, legislative moves to support the cryptocurrency industry are also accelerating. Ohio Senator Bernie Moro announced that the CLARITY Act (U.S. Crypto Market Structure Bill) is expected to pass the Senate committee next week. The bill is anticipated to reach the U.S. President's desk by the end of June, with signing completed before Independence Day on July 4. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse also presented an optimistic outlook, stating that the bill is highly likely to garner bipartisan support in the Senate and secure over 60 affirmative votes.
On-chain data analysis shows profit-taking movements by short-term investors, signaling the formation of a market bottom. Short-term holders, who have held Bitcoin for less than 155 days, have entered a profit zone due to the recent price increase and are using the $78,000 level as a key inflection point. While approximately 30,000 BTC were deposited to exchanges in the last 24 hours, creating temporary selling pressure, strong support levels were identified at $71,000 and the early $60,000s during declines.
In the altcoin market, the partnership between Solana (SOL) and Bittensor (TAO) was reported as major news. Bittensor's TAO token has been officially launched on the Solana network via the Wormhole bridge, allowing users to freely exchange assets on Solana-based decentralized exchanges like Jupiter. The combination of Bittensor's AI network capabilities and Solana's abundant liquidity is expected to significantly expand the user base for both ecosystems.
Bitcoin is currently the most sensitive to inflation and liquidity flows, outperforming Nasdaq and gold. While some market volatility may occur as short-term holders transition to long-term holders, the external environment of liquidity supply remains favorable. Investors are closely watching the passage of the bill in early July and the pace of currency issuance in the macroeconomy, anticipating further price increases.
