According to Naeil Shinmun, Ozys, the operator of the virtual asset service 'Orbit Bridge', which suffered a hacking loss of around 110 billion won, has become liable for a large amount of damages to its users. According to legal circles on the 7th, the 15th Civil Division of the Seoul Southern District Court (Presiding Judge Yoon Chan-young) recently ruled partially in favor of plaintiff A in a damages lawsuit filed against Ozys. The court determined that Ozys failed to fulfill its duty of care to stably operate a service that safely stores and manages user assets, and ordered Ozys to pay A 726 million won.
