He made this statement at the Consensus 2026 event, explaining, "Ultimately, traditional finance will absorb DeFi." In addition, he announced the launch of Morgan Stanley's new cryptocurrency-related product at the event. This product allows users to transfer cryptocurrencies held on external platforms to a Morgan Stanley account, convert them into ETFs, and obtain loans against them without selling. He explained that this allows users to secure liquidity without taxation.
