According to BeInCrypto, Telegram founder Pavel Durov claimed that "the transaction processing speed of the TON network is about 6000 times faster than Bitcoin (BTC)." According to him, the TON network takes approximately 0.6 seconds for final transaction confirmation, while Bitcoin takes about 1 hour and Ethereum (ETH) takes about 13 minutes. These figures were measured after TON's Catchain 2.0 upgrade, and the block generation time is reportedly shortened to about 400 milliseconds (ms).
