The Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (AUSTRAC) announced that it has commenced supervision of virtual asset service providers. According to Decrypt, AUSTRAC will inspect 36 over-the-counter (OTC) cryptocurrency businesses and 27 local exchanges for their anti-money laundering (AML) and risk management systems, etc.
