Last April was recorded as the month with the highest number of hacking incidents in the cryptocurrency industry. According to The Block, approximately 30 hacking cases were reported during this period. It is also considered one of the largest in terms of damage scale. The total loss from cryptocurrency hacks during this period exceeded $630 million. Notable hacking attacks include incidents at Drift Protocol, valued at $285 million, and Kelp DAO, valued at $292 million. The media explained, "The impact of hacking attacks is not limited to the affected protocols. Such incidents can put a strain on factors like falling token prices, declining trust in DeFi, and liquidity, which has been struggling since the record-breaking massive sell-off on October 10 last year."
