Zak Folkman, co-founder of World Liberty Financial (WLFI), clarified his position at the 2026 Consensus regarding the controversy surrounding World Liberty Financial's $75 million borrowing through its ecosystem lending platform Dolomite and its legal dispute with Tron (TRX) founder Justin Sun. According to The Block, Folkman stated, “World Liberty Financial was Dolomite's largest liquidity provider and executed small-scale loans relative to collateral to increase protocol utilization. Justin Sun's lawsuit regarding token freezing and governance exclusion is contrary to the facts, and we are preparing a defamation lawsuit after appointing the U.S. law firm Quinn Emanuel.”
