A U.S. court has released Roni Cohen-Pavon, a former executive of the bankrupt cryptocurrency lending firm Celsius (CEL). According to Cointelegraph, on the 13th (local time), the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York found Roni Cohen-Pavon guilty of CEL token price manipulation and platform fraud. However, acknowledging the time he had already served, the court sentenced him to one year of probation instead of further imprisonment. With the sentencing of Cohen-Pavon and former Celsius CEO Alex Mashinsky, who has already pleaded guilty and is serving a 12-year sentence, the criminal cases related to Celsius are entering their final stages.
