JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon expressed dissatisfaction with the current draft of the Clarity Act. In an interview with Fox Business, he emphasized, "This bill allows cryptocurrency companies to pay interest on deposits or stablecoins without the necessary safeguards they should receive. Furthermore, the bill does not properly address Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) regulations. The Clarity Act offers very little legal protection. JPMorgan and other banks will oppose the current bill. We will fight against it." He then targeted Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, stating, "He is pouring hundreds of millions of dollars into Washington to pass this bill. But no one will yield to this person. He's just talking complete nonsense."
