It has been revealed that U.S. FBI Director Kash Patel belatedly reported to authorities his purchase of shares in MicroStrategy (NASDAQ ticker: MSTR), a company that accumulates Bitcoin as part of its strategy, in November last year. According to Decrypt, the FBI Director's investment in MicroStrategy shares came to light belatedly under the public official asset disclosure system. He reportedly purchased MSTR shares worth between $100,000 and $250,000 on November 21 last year, when the stock price was $181. Currently, MSTR's stock price is approximately $100.55, a 44% drop from Director Patel's average purchase price. Meanwhile, regarding the omission of information that should have been included in the December report, he claimed it was "mere carelessness."
