A crypto proponent who once advocated for XRP (Ripple) reaching $1,000 has drastically lowered the target price to $10-$20, reigniting debate over XRP's price outlook. However, he stated that while he revised his price forecast, he still maintains long-term confidence in XRP.
According to crypto media outlet Watcher.Guru on July 3 (local time), crypto investor Jenny (@Jenny_Solstice) stated that after further investigation, she concluded that a realistic target price for XRP is in the $10-$20 range. She retracted her previous forecast of XRP potentially rising to $1,000 or several hundred dollars, adding that even reaching $5-$8 would be a sufficiently satisfactory outcome.
Currently, XRP is trading at $1.09. The outlet explained that XRP's price is $2.24 lower than a year ago, having fallen by 67% over the past 12 months. Accordingly, it analyzed that to achieve Jenny's target of $5-$8, a rise of approximately 4.5 to 7 times the current price is needed.
The regulatory environment was also cited as a key variable in XRP's outlook. The U.S. crypto market structure bill, the CLARITY Act, passed the U.S. Senate Banking Committee 15-9 on May 14, 2026, and was included in the Senate legislative schedule in early June. Previously, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) jointly classified XRP as a digital commodity in March, but this currently remains at the level of interpretive guidance, leaving open the possibility that a future administration could change it. The outlet explained that if the CLARITY Act passes, this status would be legally codified, which could reduce regulatory uncertainty for XRP.
Market reactions to Jenny's revised forecast were mixed. Some investors criticized it as typical FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt) in a bear market. Crypto content creator Crypto Dyl News argued that if XRP recovers to $2 again, Jenny would bring back her $10,000 forecast. On the other hand, some investors agreed with Jenny's revised outlook, stating that a $10 target is a sufficiently positive scenario, citing increased institutional investment and the potential growth of the tokenization market.
