LG is developing a bipedal humanoid robot based on the Nvidia platform, and this robot will integrate the technologies and capabilities of key affiliates, including LG Electronics' actuators and LG Innotek's sensors.
Choi Jeong-wook, a researcher at Hana Financial Investment, pointed out, "LG Group's major affiliates have a significant portion of the value chain in the AI business, with LG Electronics responsible for data center cooling and robots, LG Innotek supplying sensing components for robots and autonomous driving, LG CNS handling AI data center construction and operation and physical AI platforms, LG Uplus [032640] for AI data centers, and LG Energy Solution [373220] for data center power solutions."
Accordingly, he added, "There is a high possibility that related expectations will be re-emphasized depending on the scale and methods of cooperation with Nvidia in physical AI, AI infrastructure, and mobility."
