[Bulletin Board] Shinhan Card Verifies 6 Key Technologies in Stablecoin and Blockchain

▲ Shinhan Card announced on the 9th that it has completed a Proof of Concept (PoC) for key technological tasks utilizing stablecoins and blockchain, laying the groundwork for next-generation payment innovation targeting the Web3.0 era. Shinhan Card conducted large-scale technology verification by forming strategic partnerships with global Web3.0 companies such as Solana and Fireblocks, domestic blockchain technology companies such as Aton and Block Odyssey, and global payment network operators. The six key tasks included: ▲Blockchain-based P2P payment ▲Integrated digital asset payment infrastructure ▲Stablecoin-based check/credit hybrid products ▲Stablecoin-based cross-border remittance and settlement ▲Stablecoin payment, exchange, and settlement network verification ▲IC chip-based card-type hardware wallet payment service. Shinhan Card added that this PoC demonstrated the possibility of connecting the existing card payment system with the digital asset ecosystem, and that it plans to strengthen its competitiveness, including activating Korean Won stablecoins, in the future.
