Microsoft Defender security research team published a report, pointing out that a vulnerability has been found in the Android Software Development Kit (SDK), exposing tens of millions of cryptocurrency wallets to data theft. According to U.Today, if this vulnerability is exploited, personal identifiable information (PII), personal user credentials, and financial data could be leaked. Although cryptocurrency wallet applications exposed to the vulnerability have been downloaded over 30 million times, there have been no known cases of actual exploitation by attackers.
