AI law firm Covenant AI has announced its withdrawal from the BitTensor (TAO) ecosystem. According to Unfolded, Covenant cited BitTensor co-founder Jacob Steeves' excessive control and unilateral policy changes as reasons for its departure, stating that BitTensor's governance system is nothing more than a play mimicking decentralization. Previously, Covenant AI had conducted pre-training of decentralized large language models (LLMs) through major subnets. TAO is trading at $286.8, down 11.27% from the previous day according to CoinMarketCap.
