US March PPI Rises 0.5% MoM…Below Expectations

The U.S. Department of Labor announced that the Producer Price Index (PPI) for March rose by 0.5% compared to the previous month. This figure is below market expectations (1.1%). PPI is reflected in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) with a time lag.
