The Russian government has submitted a bill to the State Duma introducing criminal penalties for cryptocurrency services operating without regulatory approval, Cointelegraph reported. According to the draft, companies providing services related to cryptocurrency circulation without permission from the Central Bank of Russia could face up to seven years in prison.
