A spokesperson for Iran's Ministry of Defense stated that the opening of the Strait of Hormuz will only occur under ceasefire conditions, and there are additional conditions. Brigadier General Reza Talaeinik said, "Warships and vessels linked to hostile forces have no right to pass through the Strait of Hormuz." The spokesperson also added that the current situation in the Strait of Hormuz is "temporary," and the strait could be closed again if the situation in Lebanon changes, Al Jazeera reported.
