According to Crypto in America host Eleanor Terrett, Ohio Republican Senator Bernie Moreno stated at a Washington D.C. event regarding the processing schedule for the Cryptocurrency Market Structure (CLARITY) Act that it "could be finalized by the end of May." Senator Moreno previously mentioned last month that if the CLARITY Act is not passed by May, cryptocurrency legislation could be postponed for the time being. Regarding the banking sector's opposition surrounding stablecoin interest issues, he said there is "a lot of noise in the system, but it's completely fake," and urged banks to "innovate."
