Iran's Vice President Ismail Saghab Isfahani announced on the 24th that Iran would strongly retaliate against any attack on its energy facilities. Speaking at a rally in Islamshahr, Iran, Vice President Isfahani warned, "If the enemy misjudges the situation once again, Iran's response strategy will be further escalated." He added, "Iran's response to potential attacks will not be limited to an 'eye for an eye' level; this is merely the first step." He further stated, "If even one of Iran's oil wells is attacked, we will target the oil fields of the country that carried out the attack." Vice President Isfahani emphasized that Iran is fully prepared to maintain energy supply, and its readiness in the energy and electricity sectors is complete, so the public need not worry.
