The Over Foundation announced last evening that it would cease all Over Protocol service operations due to financial reasons. Accordingly, key infrastructure services such as OverWallet, OverNode, RPC endpoints, and block explorers have all been shut down, and the foundation stated that there are no recovery plans. The foundation also explained that although Over Protocol was designed with a decentralized structure, the cessation of services by the foundation, which is the operating entity, makes it highly likely that the actual chain operation will halt. The foundation stated, "We started with the goal of creating a Layer 1 that anyone could participate in, but we regret not being able to complete it."
