Meta announced that it is offering a stablecoin option as a payment method for some creators. According to CoinDesk, this option is currently only available to select creators in Colombia and the Philippines. Eligible creators can receive payments in USDC via the Solana or Polygon blockchain. Meta explained that it collaborated with Stripe for this initiative. The media noted, "Meta has returned to the stablecoin market after the Diem (formerly Libra) project was halted in 2022 due to regulatory investigations."
