ZKsync announced via X that ZKsync Lite halted block generation on May 4th and entered its scheduled service termination. This termination does not affect other chains like ZKsync Era, and funds remaining in Lite can be withdrawn from Ethereum Layer 1 (L1). Currently, with transactions paused, the Security Council is verifying the final state root, and withdrawals will commence once verification is complete. The estimated time is 48-72 hours. ZKsync will cover the withdrawal fees for the first 100,000 transactions.
