Cointelegraph reported that JPMorgan Chase significantly expanded its holdings of Bitcoin (BTC) spot ETFs in the first quarter of this year, as disclosed in its 13F filing. According to the filing, JPMorgan Chase's BlackRock IBIT holdings increased by 174% quarter-over-quarter, from approximately 3 million shares in Q4 2025 to 8.3 million shares in Q1 of this year. During the same period, holdings of Fidelity FBTC (approximately 900%) and Bitwise BITB (approximately 450%) also significantly increased. In this regard, the media explained, "Despite Bitcoin's price falling by more than 22% in the first quarter, JPMorgan Chase increased its holdings of cryptocurrency-related assets."
