On-chain analytics firm Santiment reported that the amount of Bitcoin (BTC) held by major exchanges is approximately 5.6% of the total circulating supply, marking the lowest level since 2018. Generally, a decrease in exchange holdings suggests an increase in movements for long-term storage purposes and is interpreted as a sign of easing selling pressure. In contrast, Ethereum (ETH) holdings on exchanges have slightly increased from 4.2% ten days ago to 4.6% currently.
