Coinbase has launched Indian Rupee (INR) deposit and withdrawal services, entering the Indian cryptocurrency market, CoinDesk reported. As a result, Indian users will be able to directly deposit or withdraw rupees from their bank accounts to their Coinbase accounts via the Immediate Payment Service (IMPS) starting June 1 (local time). Previously, Indian investors had to deposit and withdraw funds through P2P transactions or third-party intermediaries, but the introduction of this service is expected to provide a more convenient trading environment. The size of the Indian cryptocurrency market is estimated to be approximately $3.04 billion by 2025 and is expected to reach $14.2 billion by 2034.
