NVIDIA video AI technology-based control solution expands on-site application
Nota [486990] announced on the 1st that it will target the video AI agent market based on technical cooperation with NVIDIA.
Based on NVIDIA's generative AI-based video search and summary technology 'VSS', Nota plans to advance its video surveillance solution 'NVA' and expand its application to actual sites such as traffic control and industrial safety.
Nota's NVA is a generative AI video surveillance solution based on a vision-language model (VLM) that understands situations and contexts in videos. It supports operators in searching, summarizing, and reporting necessary information in natural language.
NVIDIA VSS is a technology that provides core functions of generative AI video surveillance, such as video search, summary, and Q&A.
Nota's operational experience and data accumulated on-site are shared with the NVIDIA VSS team. This indicates that they are building a cooperative structure to jointly develop video AI agent technology, going beyond a simple technology supply and adoption relationship.
In the field of traffic control, Nota has built VSS-based NVA into the traffic control system of the Daejeon Regional Construction and Management Administration.
This system utilizes road CCTVs to detect unexpected situations such as accidents, fires, and obstacles in real-time, and automatically summarizes and reports lane-specific traffic information and response statuses.
The system received a top-tier evaluation, recording 99% accuracy in the basic performance evaluation of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's Intelligent Transport System (ITS).
The use of NVA is also increasing in the industrial safety sector. NVA, introduced at Kolon Industries' Gimcheon Plant 2, is used for worker safety management, hazardous area monitoring, and identifying potential safety rule violations.
Nota plans to expand its application scope to industrial safety, public safety, traffic control, and smart cities by combining the multi-agent structure presented by NVIDIA 'VSS 3.1' with NVA's on-site customized configuration capabilities.
Meanwhile, Nota, which was listed in NVIDIA's global partner program 'Connect' last December, is scheduled to attend 'Jetson Partners Day' held in Taipei, Taiwan on the 30th.
