Multicoin Capital co-founder Kyle Samani said that Web3 is over, and now only DeFi (decentralized finance) and DePIN (decentralized physical infrastructure) remain. This follows Starknet co-founder Eli Ben-Sasson's statement that the crypto industry is currently facing an identity crisis. He pointed out that while OGs who have long observed the industry are leaving, institutional investors and traditional finance (TradFi) have begun to show interest in cryptocurrency, which is the very phenomenon that cryptocurrency initially resisted.
