Layer 1 protocol Saga (SAGA) announced that it is selling its cryptocurrency business unit, establishing an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Labs, and transitioning to an AI-based consumer platform. Accordingly, the blockchain network operation and management authority will be transferred to Alapin Holding, a subsidiary of dao5. The company stated, "The network and transactions will operate without issues," and "There will be no temporary chain suspension or forking." Saga AI Labs will focus on developing AI consumer platforms and autonomous digital characters, and plans to expand its business into consumer brands, sports, and other sectors in the future.
