On July 4 (local time), Zcash core developer Sean Bowe announced that the Zcash Ironwood upgrade is scheduled to take place on the testnet. The Ironwood mainnet upgrade, which will significantly improve the security and processing efficiency of the Zcash mainnet, is expected to occur around July 21. The development team stated that while pushing for the rapid activation of the upgrade, they are also conducting formal verification work to completely allay concerns about supply integrity.
