BeInCrypto reported that Standard Chartered has obtained the MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets) license, the EU's cryptocurrency regulation. The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) added 37 cryptocurrency firms through its latest registry update, bringing the total number of crypto-asset service providers (CASPs) authorized within the EU to 280. New authorized firms include cryptocurrency prime brokers FalconX and Sygnum Europe.
