The Office of Cybersecurity and Critical Infrastructure Protection (OCCIP) under the US Treasury Department has launched a cybersecurity information sharing initiative for the cryptocurrency industry. This program aims to provide timely and actionable cybersecurity information to qualified US cryptocurrency companies and organizations, helping them identify, prevent, and respond to cyber threats targeting their customers and networks. It is explained that US cryptocurrency companies and organizations that meet the Treasury Department's standards will be eligible to access the same cybersecurity information that the Treasury Department regularly provides to traditional financial institutions.
