The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has revealed the first members of its Innovation Task Force, launched to support cryptocurrency market innovation and enhance transparency. According to Cointelegraph, Michael Passalacqua, Senior Advisor to CFTC Chairman Michael Selig, will lead the initiative, with five initial members joining: cryptocurrency lawyer Hank Balaban, former Patomak crypto consultant Sam Canavos, CFTC legal expert Mark Pfeiffer, blockchain lawyer Eugene Gonzalez IV, and CFTC Special Counsel Dina Moussa. In this regard, Chairman Selig stated, "The TF has been assembled with the best team that can demonstrate expertise and dedication to provide clear guidance for American innovators."
