Iranian local media outlets unanimously reported that the peace talks between the United States and Iran, currently underway in Islamabad, Pakistan, are scheduled to resume on the 12th (local time). According to Iran's state news agency IRNA and semi-official Tasnim News Agency, among others, the delegations of both countries, who exchanged their respective demands on key issues such as control over the Strait of Hormuz and the unfreezing of assets during the first day's talks that extended past midnight yesterday, will sit down again today to attempt to reach a full agreement. As the delegations, led by U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance and Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, agreed to continue marathon negotiations under Pakistan's mediation, both the global virtual asset market and traditional financial markets, which had been showing a strong wait-and-see attitude amidst heightened tension, are now keenly watching to see if a dramatic breakthrough to resolve the geopolitical crisis will be achieved in this meeting.
