Investment secured by cryptocurrency startups in the first quarter of this year recorded $5 billion, a 15% decrease compared to the same period last year, DL News reported, citing DeFiLlama data. In this regard, Jonathan King, a senior investor at Coinbase Ventures, explained, "When the market is quiet or difficult, it can actually be an opportunity. Investing during this period has a high potential for significant future returns. Coinbase Ventures stepping up as a major investor in Q1 was also based on this judgment."
