CoinDesk reported that Ripple has unveiled a four-step roadmap to make the XRP Ledger quantum-resistant by 2028. Each step includes: △Step 1: Transfer all assets to quantum-secure accounts to protect exposed public keys and long-term holding accounts; △Step 2: Conduct a quantum vulnerability assessment across the XRP Ledger network and test defense mechanisms proposed by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST); △Step 3: Integrate existing signatures and quantum-resistant signatures on the testnet; △Step 4: Deploy new quantum-resistant revisions to the XRP Ledger ecosystem.
