Unfolded reported that FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried's request for a retrial was finally denied. Previously, SBF requested a retrial, claiming new evidence had been found, but Judge Lewis Kaplan, who presided over the 2023 trial, rejected his arguments and maintained the case's closure. With this decision, SBF's only remaining legal option is the appeal process filed with the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
