Anand Gomes, CEO of decentralized cryptocurrency exchange Paradex, pointed out, "Token Generation Event (TGE) has now devolved into a 'cash-out exit' for projects." According to Wu Blockchain, he emphasized in a podcast, "Originally, TGE stood for Token Generation Event, meaning the launch of a project's token. However, recently in the community, it's being called 'Teams Gonna Exit,' where issuers dump tokens and abandon projects. In reality, many teams do not properly build products; instead, they launch tokens, quickly cash out, and then abandon the project. The lack of regulation and the proliferation of such 'exit' models are ruining the cryptocurrency market."
