Lido (LDO) announced via its official X account that the EarnETH vault was affected by the KelpDAO bridge hack, which involved $292 million (116,500 rsETH). EarnETH holds approximately $21.6 million worth of rsETH through a leveraged rsETH/ETH position on the Aave platform, which accounts for about 9% of the vault's total assets. Lido stated, "If necessary, we plan to cover losses through a primary loss protection mechanism worth $3 million. The vault has temporarily suspended redemption operations to confirm the extent of the loss," adding, "The KelpDAO hack incident has had no impact on stETH and wstETH, and it is not related to the Lido core staking protocol."
