LayerZero (ZRO) announced that it will donate a total of 10,000 ETH to the DeFi United initiative, which was formed after the KelpDAO hacking incident. According to The Block, LayerZero plans to donate 5,000 ETH to DeFi United and another 5,000 ETH to strengthen Aave's liquidity. Additionally, it plans to take further measures to strengthen the liquidity of Aave's own decentralized stablecoin, GHO. Following the KelpDAO hacking incident, some pointed out that LayerZero bears significant responsibility, as KelpDAO was using a 1:1 DVN method with LayerZero as the sole validator.
